About John hunt
I began my piping career at the age of 11. Influenced by my grandfather Seamus Hunt who has been playing pipes for over 50 years, and my father John Hunt Snr who has been playing for over 30 years. Both have several All Ireland and World Championship medals for their achievements.
Award Winning!
I began playing in my home town with Newcastle West & District Pipe Band. I later played with St. Johns pipe band in Tralee, and then onto playing with the well awarded St. Josephs pipe band Clondalkin. I have won several All Ireland Championships and World Championship awards with these pipe bands.
